Bad News

Well, it was fun while it lasted. After working for a little more than a month at a bookstore, and two week in management, the bookstore goes and closes. The worst part is, I can no longer do special orders from my store for the last three weeks we're open, so I can't even blow the money I make.

And people wonder why I am a pessimist. Stupid Greece Mall and Barnes and Nobles.

Good News

OK, another short break from my normal fare, but I am excited. After working at Walden Books for a week and a half, I was promoted to keyholder. It is nice to finally break into management after trying in vain for nearly a year at Hallmark.

Now the challenge will be excercising self-control with the healthy discount on books!
